This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

Got an absolutely delicious dubai chocolate milkshake when it was 96° out and the owner was delightful to meet. The bakery treats and sweets looked delicious, and had they Turkish coffee!! There were lovely little tables outside to eat at too and enjoy a little garden. Absolutely coming back here!

Discovered this place by accident (even though they’ve been in this location for a year). Lovely husband-and-wife owners. Interesting and delicious ice cream flavors. Homemade middle-eastern desserts. Turkish tea and coffee, and other things on the menu. Tables and benches to sit outside. Great find!

Came in here for the first time, and the kind shop owner answered all of my questions and more. She was very careful and helpful with my allergies. Note that knafeh must be preordered for pickup. So glad they serve Perry’s ice cream because it’s deliciously creamy. The baklava was also so good and freshly made morning of. Will become a staple for me!

Absolutely delicious ice cream in friendly service. The quality and flavors are just as good as Cold Stone but a lot less expensive, and just as close to my house. So I know where I'm going from now on!

The owners are the sweetest people!!! We stopped in after eating Chinese and were overjoyed that their desserts were made with Pistachio and not Walnut as my boyfriend is allergic to Walnut. We came in for the ice cream which was soooo good and left with a whole bag of goodies too! Can't wait to return.
